First night and then day in London

Our first night (August 12) in London we spent with Stephen Young my first cousin.  We went for dinner and a good time was had by all.

The next day (August 13) we rode a double decker and then caught our tour bus.  We went around central London seeing all the main sites and then got off at the Tower of London.  We saw all kinds of things there including the crown jewels and some actors fighting with full armor.

We then went to Buckingham palace and toured the grounds.  The palace was closed when we arrived but we may go in today.

We then did a river cruise on the Thames.

We went for dinner at Piccadilly Circus and then walked about a bit.

We then took the tube back to Paddington Station and home for a sleep.

As you can see from the picture, London is having a similar transformative effect on Athena.
